Philanthropy
The National Philanthropy of Sigma Psi Zeta is to combat the violence against womxn in its varied forms. This includes, but is not by any means limited to the following: rape, incest, domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, exploitation, the trafficking of womxn and children, the abuse of migrant workers, intimidation at work, child abuse, harassment, and spousal abuse. Violence affects the lives of millions of women worldwide, in all socioeconomic and educational classes.
Through our combined individual and group efforts, the sisters of Sigma Psi Zeta have demonstrated a commitment to bring awareness and education of this issue to our university and communities. To accomplish our philanthropic goals, as syzters we:

- Donate proceeds of activities to organizations that support this same cause
- Volunteer at domestic violence shelters
- Host an annual Take Back the Night vigil to honor and recognize the survivors of sexual violence
- Sponsor or attend conferences and meetings that empower womxn's rights
- Host and attend self-defense workshops and classes
- Lend support to womxn who need and seek help for them
